Do you have what it takes to be rich? by COACH TRIMTAB

A lot of people these days wanted to be rich. Watch the television and you will see a lot of young people wanting to hit it big on TV. You will also find shows telling you that you can be an instant millionaire. Just look at the line of people buying tickets for Lotto everyday, you would wonder how hopeful a lot of Filipinos has become that luck will fall on them and make them millionaires.

During these challenging economic times, people would rather find a “shortcut” rather than undergo the usual process to becoming rich.
I don’t blame people wanting to win it over luck; the path to richness is not for everyone. It is not an easy path and it is not a calling for the faint-hearted.

One of the millionaires I admire (although he does not belong to the popular likes of Kiyosaki and Trump), Felix Dennis, a British self-made millionaire said if you want to be rich, you must grow a carapace. A mental armour. Thick enough to shrug off the inevitable sniggering and malicious mockery that will follow your inevitable failures, not to mention the poorly hidden envy that will accompany your eventual success.

He actually gave a list to consider by a person wanting to become rich and according to him, if you find yourself unable to measure up to even ONE of these initial demands (even just ONE), forget your quest to richness:

1. If you are unwilling to fail, sometimes publicly, and even catastrophically, you stand very little chance of ever getting rich.

2. If you care what the neighbors will think, you will never get rich.

3. If you cannot bear the thought of causing worry to your family, spouse or lover while you plough a lonely, dangerous road rather than taking a safe option of a regular job, you will never get rich.

4. If you have artistic inclinations and fear that the search for wealth will coarsen such talents or degrade them, you will never get rich. (Because your fear in this instance, is well justified)

5. If you are not prepared to work longer hours than almost anyone you know, despite the jibes of colleagues and friends, you are unlikely to be rich.

6. If you cannot convince yourself that you are "good enough" to be rich, you will never get rich.

7. If you cannot treat your quest to get rich as a game, you will never be rich.

8. If you cannot face up your fear of failure, you will never be rich.

Being in business for almost 10 years already, I totally agree with him. Getting rich means sacrifice. You must learn to get used to it or give up the quest. Another brutal truth, in which I believe anyone wanting to become rich must confront, is the fear of failure. I believe no amount of books will set anyone afraid to fail free. As for the words of Mr. Dennis, “be prepared to remain relatively poor if you will not confront and harness this human emotion, which is fear. In fact, in my years of experience in business, I am convinced that fear of failing in the eyes of the world is the single biggest impediment to amassing wealth.”

People who are afraid to fail never get started. People who surrender to it becomes paralyzed and defeated. Nobody becomes wealthy surrendering to fear. Trust me on this.

If none of the reasons above fit you, then I invite you to be on a quest towards a rich and successful life. To be on a quest, you need people with you who are willing to commit to the goal. If you are unreasonable and unstoppable, become part of the Create Abundance Core Team. There is no guarantee that you will become rich in an instant. The only guarantee is you will get there provided you commit and never quit when challenges come your way.

People Are Risky, Investing Is Not by Rhea Prosia, Core Team

How oftentimes have you heard someone say that investing is risky?

I stumbled upon a query posted by a lady on an online forum soliciting suggestions on what business to get into with her 100K. The lady just quit her job to tend for her needs while pregnant and had decided with her husband to no longer go back to employment. The post yielded several replies suggesting different types of TRADITIONAL businesses. If the lady will heed any of the respondents’ advice, she is definitely in for a disastrous ride. Why do I say so?

First of all, the lady was an employee and had no background in business. In anything that we get into, do we not look into ourselves first if we have any knowledge, skills, courage and the mindset (and a lot more) of the roles we will assume? Some say, we’d learn it along the way and yes, you will learn it the hard and disastrous way. Think of fresh graduates. A lot do not have work experience. If a number of them got hired as call center agents and hit the floor on their first day without undergoing orientation and training, what do you think will happen? If they continue to grope around without any knowledge of the account they are handling, without knowing what system to use and how or when to use it and not knowing the processes they are involved in, the company will suffer huge losses and everything will collapse. Addition to that would be the emotional and mental trauma the employees will suffer due to not being trained to be bigger than failure, and the feelings of fear and hopelessness.

Second, most of the people who responded were not businessmen. Their suggestions came from the things they observed outside of them – things they only get to see but never experienced. If you are the lady, are you still to take their advice?

The most successful people in the world like Donald Trump, Robert Kiyosaki, T Harv Eker, etc always encourage people to be educated first. That is why you would see their learning materials in the bookshops, their regular write ups online and on television shows and seminars upon seminars even giving out free materials especially for those who do not have access to financial education.

To start a business, you should be educated first. If you have the desire to be in a business, look into yourself if you are the right person. If you are not the right person as yet, then learn how to be. Business is like driving. You got to be fit for driving before you can drive on your own. You got to have a coach to guide you and from whom you can learn a lot with and a lot from. You got to know the rules and the laws on traffic and driving.

If you desire to be in a business and want to be the right person by learning and applying the principles of the successful people in this country and other parts of the world, a series of public education events such as Cashflow 101 and free Wealth Courses are made available for everyone’s access. Visit www.ca2020.net and contact 09153014981 for seat reservations.

8 point test of a Real Business by Vincent Uy, Core Team

Here are the 8 point test of a Real Business in which I found it extremely important. With just one element missing, the whole business operation may not be successful. So here we go:

1.) Mission – Typically, a lot of people wants to start and build their own businesses but only few of them prioritize to establish first a Mission. The Mission must be very strong and clear enough. What is it that you are going to do by starting this business? Is it simply just to earn money? Or bragging out to the world that you own a business? There must be a stronger reason for you to start your business. In my opinion, it is the first step. As you register your business name to DTI or SEC, they will ask for your mission and vision.

2.) Leadership – as mentioned on my previous blog, it is as important as establishing a good business location as well as target market. A good leader is a good follower, it simply means coachable. To gather a huge number of good leaders for your business, you must first become the good leader you deserve. When you get yourself shape into a good leader, the rest of the good and better leaders in the world will be attracted to you.

3.) Teamwork – this is one of the crucial parts of a business. Sometimes, it is very hard to determine if the cause of the problem in business is the system, product or people. Cooperation and Coordination. Just like basketball, pass the ball to your fellow teammates until one of you were able to get a chance to shoot the ball to the goal. If you squeeze the ball tightly by yourself, the chance is you’ll be gang up by the opposing team members (5 on 1?). In the world of Big Businesses, if you don’t have business partners who are working as your teammates to support you, you will be trampled by the other big business owners. (Clue: Yuchenco Group, Metrobank group, Lucio Tan's Group)

4.) Cashflow – Typically, investors will often look at the cashflow of your business. Many investors fail to invest money on startup companies due to the problem found on cashflow. I’m presuming we understand capital is the blood and cashflow is the blood circulation of a business. Normally, a start up business will start as negative cashflow. But don’t get mislead here, it doesn’t take money to earn money. The reason why business starts with negative cashflow is simply because of the start up expenses. (Ex. Equipments, monthly amortizations, bills and salaries) Most of the time, investors only invest on a business with negative cashflow if the proposed business plan is innovating and different from the other existing businesses, the investor might invest. But it also depends if the investor really understands and like your proposed business plan. (Check out the 3 types of investors on the book "Why we want you to be rich?")

5.) System – a while ago, I mentioned system. Today, whenever I share the word “system” to my friends, the system that I require on a business before I consider myself jamming in. Majority of them fail to understand what I’m talking about, or to be precise: they don’t understand the importance of a system. Let’s use Mc Donald as an example. The system of Mc Donald is: the security guard will open the door for the customer to come in, the service crews standing beside the area regardless of what they are doing, they must shout the word “Good Morning Ma’am Sir Welcome to Mc Donalds!!!” with a big smile as big as possible then continue doing what they are doing. The customer gets closer to the counter to order their food. While interacting with the counter (cashier), the food the customer ordered is almost ready. Surprisingly, the food is being served within 5 minutes. Now that’s a system! What if your business doesn’t have a system? Are you going to be the one to welcome your customer, take order, cook and serve food? Alone? With your husband or wife? If you’re doing it alone, the business owns you. Coz you’re the system ^_^

6.) Communication – Robert Kiosaki often relate business to the Vietnam War he had experienced. In War, Communication is very important. If there is no communication, will you ever receive commands from your commander? What if there are mines a few steps away and you didn’t receive the warning message from your team, you are mostly going to put yourself in danger. According to Sir Alan Sugar from the Apprentice UK, “Business is all about pressure”. And once we are pressured, there are two possible things that will happen to us: First, we decided to do it alone. Second, we ask for help and form in a group. The second one is the most recommended communication skill. Because it follows by teamwork and leadership.

7.) Legal – Aside from having a very good business plan, huge capital, best leaders and best products. The next question is… is your business Legal? Legal in terms of approved or accredited by our Local Government. In case of emergency, do you have company lawyers to protect your business against your competitors? In Network Marketing, if the company you’ve chosen is Legitimate. You do not need to have your own Lawyer. And that surely cuts off your company expenses. And the risk is lower because the required capital for investment is very small that a typical employee could afford one. To find out which Networking companies are accredited by our government, simply go to the website of DSAP (Direct Selling Association Philippines). http://www.dsap.ph/ If you are into traditional business, you have to pay for the Legal expenses in order to create a legitimate business. I swear to you, it really cost a LOT, perhaps 6 digits (hundred thousand pesos above, the cheapest).

8.) Product – last but not the least, the Product. Is your product a problem solver or problem creator? In my previous experience of Networking, a lot of the companies sell really lousy products. They use the strategies of training the members by making them hard sell using powerful sales talk and eventually clients will buy at once after the long speech. I was one of the members who undergone intense sales training. During that time, I felt like I’m a talking machine. I was only trained to sell, sell and sell. What a life! I just couldn’t stand being so selfish… It’s good that I don’t look like a fish… but still I sell fish. Sometimes the lousy products only work 1 to 2 months and if that happens… I’m pretty much sure my clients will be texting or calling me and shoot me their infinite complains towards my products. That really destroys my credibility and integrity. Entrepreneur is a person who solves other person’s problem for a profit or pay. In my opinion, before solving someone’s problem, make sure the solution is effective and will not create more problems. ^_^

So these are the 8 point test of a real business. If you are starting a new business, buying an existing business, franchising, networking or nothing? Take a few moment to check out the 8 elements. ^_^

Creating Wealth From Zero

This blog is a sequel of the blog titled Dissecting Millionaires.

We rearrange the kinds of millionaires to show the members of this community how wealth is created from zero as practiced by the Core Team members of this community.

Take note that this is not a theory. This is already been practiced and we are still practicing this in the Core Team. The Core Team does not only meet online, we interact in person in our business school, our leadership dojo and service & mission days.

Three resources of the Rich Class from the discussion "The Mindset...".

1. Network
2. Cashflow
3. Networth

Network

My poor dad often said, "What you know is important."

My rich dad said, "If you want to be rich, who you know is more important than what you know."

Rich Dad explained further saying, "Business and investing are team sports." The average investor or small-business person loses financially because they do not have a team. Instead of a team, they act as individuals who are trampled by very smart teams."

"Business and investing are team sports." -- Robert Kiyosaki

If you are part of the Create Abundance Core Team you will learn our Business Strategy: Create Wealth and Financial Freedom from Zero to Three Years Using the Art and Science of Leverage and the Power of Mastermind Teams.

Cashflow

From the Network, you become part of a Business and Investing team and create yourself to be a Team Made Millionaire. The businesses and investments (golden gooses) now give you positive cashflow or passive income(golden eggs). This is where your business systems work for you and money working for you.

Networth

Then you leverage your cashflow (passive income) to buy more Assets thereby increasing their Networth. This is the reason why the truly rich can afford luxury cars and other expensive things. It is because their business is the one paying for it and not from paycheck (employment or self employment).

To learn more and educate yourself about Money, Business and Acoounting we invite you to attend our Cashflow Gatherings and Wealth Courses. The community is actually giving this for free service programs as part of the task given to CA2020 Core Team members to develop and enhance their Leadership, Communication and People Skills.

To learn the business strategy of this community in creating wealth from zero, we invite you to take the challenge of being part of the CA2020 Core Team.

Are you ready to create wealth and abundance?

Conquering Mt. Everest and Creating First World Philippines by COACH RAPH

I am inspired by John Maxwell's words and I would want to keep this passion burning by sharing it with you.

"A Mt. Everest-sized dream needs a Mt. Everest-sized team" -John C. Maxwell

Mt. Everest is one of the harshest places on earth. But still, it's a mountain climber's greatest dream. One wrong step and you will fall 1,000 feet to your death. World-class climbers NEVER took this mountain lightly. Because if they did, they wouldn't have reached the top. And they wouldn't have made a safe descent.

Same is true with my dream - CA2020's Dream.

What is my dream? First World Philippines. I know that it's neither an easy climb nor an impossible feat. I just know that it will require a lot of work. This is one thing that I would like to accomplish during my time here on earth.

I, alone, cannot accomplish this dream. It requires a team. An extraordinary team.

So who is on my team? To measure one's potential, look at his team. One's potential is only as good as one's current team. The Core Team is made up of high-caliber and quality people. It consists of people who maximizes their gifts; be it in communication, business, leadership. It consists of people who embrace discomfort, challenge, and growth.

Only coachable, open-minded, and success-driven people pass the initial process. The Ten-Step Process weeded out three kinds of people from the Core. It removed those who will not take the challenge. It removed those who should not take the challenge. And it removed those who cannot take the challenge.

Why is it very strict? Because this journey is not for everyone. "The strength of the team is impacted by its weakest link." If a person doesn't want to grow, then he has to go.

What should my Dream Team look like? First World Philippines is a Level 10 dream. And it requires a Level 10 Team with Level 10 members. Are all the Core Team members Level 10 then? No. Not yet. The Ten-Step Process removed those who are Level 6 and below. Core Team is composed of Level 7 and higher. Why? There are only few people with Level 10 mindset, Level 10 skill, and most importantly, Level 10 integrity. But I believe that Level 7 people can grow into Level 10.

Core Team is a lifestyle. It's a holistic approach to growth. So why won't it accept people who are Level 6 and lower? Because these people love to do one thing. They belong to the class of "wait-and-see." The dream won't happen if the team is content with "waiting."

The end product of the Core Team will be multi-millionaires who are initiators, full of integrity, service-oriented, responsible, and are accountable in their actions. Why will they become multi-millionaires? One reason, money follows growth.

"Focus on the team, not the dream. One mistake I've seen people repeatedly make is that they focus too much attention on their dream and too little on their team. But the truth is that if you build the right team, the dream will almost take care of itself." This is the reason for the inception of Life Entrepreneurship Program. It grows the team to a level capable of taking on a formidable challenge.

It is creating an Everest-sized team that will conquer an Everest-sized dream.

Becoming a Ca2020 Business and Wealth Coach by Flow Sotelo, Core Team

“Wealth is the product of man's capacity to think.” - Ayn Rand

The Create Abundance 2020 Business Community is an organization whose purpose is to empower people and organizations to generate and fulfill new possibilities based on gifts, generosity, accountability and commitment. It creates and provides services, programs, and business vehicles that produce extraordinary results. Its mission is to Spread Financial Education throughout the nation and the world and Create a First World Philippines.

Filipinos of different education, professions, religions, and ethnicity have been joining this community, first to learn, then to provide Business and Wealth Coaching to others. With all the Economic Recessions and Calamities all over the world, we enjoined ourselves, with people like Robert Kiyosaki, Donald Trump, and many others as our virtual mentors, in educating people on Financial Literacy and creating First World Nations.

In the Philippines, out of the 90 million Filipinos, below 1% can be considered financially able to really navigate the nation's economy and really help people who are in dire need. As we have recently seen on TV, only a handful of Filipinos can make a huge contribution on helping others in need. What if, instead of having only 1% of financially capable Filipinos, there will be at least 20%? I think, that will make a lot of difference, do you agree with me?

I will sum up the Ca2020 strategy with this: To Raise Up 1,000 Successful Entrepreneurs Who Are CAPABLE of Training and Coaching 1,000 People Under Each One of Them.

How do we do that? We LEARN BY DOING.

If you have attended one of our Free Wealth Courses in Makati City or in Ortigas Center, the person who facilitates the Wealth Course is actually being Trained on being a Small Group Coach or Facilitator. There they experience first hand how to Teach, Answer Questions, and Communicate the Lessons they have previously learned. What they learn from there in turn is being processed through One-on-One Coaching, Small Group Trainings (called Leadership Dojo), and Actual Business Experience.

Yes, each of us (Ca2020 Business and Wealth Coach) are expected to REALLY experience Capital Raising, Cashflow Management, Marketing and Sales, Business Management, and how to put-up our Own Private Companies. Without those first-hand experiences we will not be able to Coach others. Plus, we are expected to use our monthly business earnings to enroll in the later stages of our schooling. It is a very practical and innovative way of learning - learning How to Be a Business and Wealth Coach by Becoming Wealthy Businessmen Ourselves.

Take note: Having a lot of money makes you Rich, but being Wealthy is having a lot of Time. It is by becoming Financially Free that we will be able to gain Time for more education. It is by becoming Financially Comfortable that we will have a Happy and Enjoyable Life. But, it is by becoming Financially Abundant that we will be able to have a very significant impact on our Nation and to the Lives of Others. By becoming Financially Abundant ourselves, we will be able to demonstrate Living with a Purpose.

Every Ca2020 Business and Wealth Coach wanabe has to have a Deeper Purpose before being accepted into the Core Team.

So, how can anyone be a Ca2020 Business and Wealth Coach?

As listed in the Ca2020.net FAQs, "In order to be entitled to be a Coach, first you must be a Core Team Member then have undergone at least 3 to 6 months of Community Service, have a regular commitment days and showed growth and results in your own business school franchise."

If you're interested in joining us and become a Core Team member, please leave me a message on my profile page: Please put, "Coach Flow, I am interested in becoming a part of the Ca2020 Core Team". I will guide you along the way after that.

The Law of Attraction

Thoughts Become Things

Whatever we think becomes things. I meet a lot of people who believes in the Law of Attraction, watched and read "The Secret" and "The Science of Getting Rich. They even have declaration cards and some of them posted videos and blogs here in CA2020.net. But how come they are not yet financially free and living the life they desire?

The answer is: RECEIVING.

The Universe already granted their desires but they fail to receive them!

They asked for Financial Freedom and the Universe introduced them to Create Abundance Business Community, The Core Team and The Coaches. Yet, they failed to receive what they asked because they are expecting something else or the way they want the Universe will deliver to them.

The Law of Attraction is called a law because it is always true. Just like the law of gravity. When you throw something up it will surely go down no matter what is the nationality, status in life, education, money and age of the thrower.

Here is a poem to clearly present my point:

I asked for strength,
And God gave me difficulties to make me strong;

I asked for wisdom,
And God gave me problems to learn to solve;

I asked for prosperity,
And God gave me brain and brawn to work;

I asked for courage,
And God gave me dangers to overcome;

I asked for love,
And God gave me people to empower;

I asked for favors,
And God gave me opportunities.

I received nothing I wanted – I received everything I needed.
My prayer has been answered!

Now, Are you an excellent receiver???

You can post your answer here at the comments: http://www.ca2020.net/profiles/blogs/the-law-of-attraction

CATALYZING CHANGE THROUGH VOLUNTEERING

by Cecile Ventura, Core Team

In September 22, 2009, Volunteer Service Overseas (VSO) Philippines invited Create Abundance Business Community to participate in their Forum & Volunteer Expo entitled “Catalyzing Change Through Volunteering”.

VSO is the world’s leading independent international development organization that works through volunteers to fight poverty in developing countries. VSO's high-impact approach involves bringing people together to share skills, build capabilities, promote international understanding and action, and change lives to make the world a fairer place for all. (you may visit their website: http://www.vsoph.org ).

During the forum, they discussed Republic Act 9418 – the Volunteer Act of 2007, which after 2 years the government finally issued the Implementing Guidelines. The government has recognized the important role of volunteers in national development. RA 9418 committed government to provide a conducive and enabling environment for volunteers and volunteer organizations through the establishment of a mechanism to protect volunteer’s rights and privileges and recognize their vital contributions to society. It has designated its agency, Philippine National Volunteer Service Coordinating Agency (PNVSCA), to implement the act.

PNVSCA aims to inculcate volunteering as a WAY OF LIFE. They recognize that volunteering is “part of the DNA of the Filipinos”. Our forefathers have been volunteering and a lot of volunteer organizations presently exist to help various marginalized sectors of our society. We even have a term for it – Bayanihan, a tradition that is alive and shared by all people. Through RA 9418, they intend to adapt and strengthen the practice of volunteering as a strategy for rural development.

Aside from our group, Create Abundance Business Community, there were several NGO's that attended the forum which represent various sectors of our society such as the disabled people, deaf community, NGO's that provide and assists urban and rural poor through their skills, Muslim volunteer organization, volunteer networks like Hands On Manila, and representatives of various foundations and the academe.

One of the highlights of the event is the participation of the Kenyan Delegation who were here to observe how the Philippines was able to establish volunteering as a means of developing a nation. Their representative said that Kenyans are nowhere near the Filipinos in terms of organized volunteering.

At the end of the forum, there were still a lot of skeptics about the involvement of the government in volunteering. But there is one common goal that unites all the participants – how to improve the way of life of every Filipino.

Mathematics and Analysis of Binary MLM Pyramid Scheme

The intention of this business community is to educate our members about different kinds of businesses. This to guide our members in their quest for time and money freedom in the right and fastest way as possible.

In the Philippines many joined binary MLM companies, after a several months they end up where they started only a lot broke. We actually meet several binary MLM owners who are trying to recruit us with their scheme. We were never convinced by them because as an educated business persons as we are, we always study the math before we dive into something.

We do not care if it cost you a few thousand pesos to join or if you just have to recruit two people. Or you have to balance your left and right wing for you to fly like an "eagle" What we care is our time as an entrepreneur is worth spending in any kind of business endeavor. We have been in network marketing since 2005 that is four years already, with the same company. The company uses the innovative franchising system. This is you become a franchisor after you become a franchisee, therefore you earn passive royalty income as a franchisor. This 25 year old company is our first and last network marketing company, We never jumped from one company to the other just like what seasoned networkers do.

In the community, we hear a lot of stories from our members who joined several MLM companies, some of them are still being recruited now. Since they are educated in business they have a sound judgement what a real business opportunity looks like. This is the reason why we do not promote Binary MLM here in CA2020.net, we are here to educate the mind and not to poison it.

Let us start your education:

CA2020 Refuses to Join the Recession by COACH TRIMTAB

The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice; and because we fail to notice, there’s little that we can do to change, until we notice how failing to notice changes our thought and deeds- R.D. Laing

One of my beloved business mentors always tell me that I must pay particular attention to what my eyes notice. Often our eyes deceive us and sad thing is, this is what usually hinders a lot of us from succeeding in life.

This community often encounters people saying that our dream of making 1st world Philippines and creating 1,000 multi-millionaires will never work. Then they will cite evidences and reasons why it won’t work and one of the most common reasons are, “our government is corrupt”, “it’s too risky to be in business”, “Its better to work abroad”, “1,000 Millionaires from zero? that's crazy, it will never happen”, “you must scam people to make that happen” and thousands more and if we would compile it, we can create a book out of it already.

Come to think of it, each one of us has a story about ourselves, about our family, about this country and often times our stories either limits us or move us forward. As the pioneer of the contemporary field of leadership studies, Warren Bennis said, “the facts of the matter are much less important to us than the way these facts occur to us”.

Last week I watched the movie Charlotte’s Web with my kids. It’s based from the classic novel written by EB White about a very unlikely friendship between a pig and a spider. I believe that the book is more than just for children and we adults could definitely learn a lot from it.

In the story, the spider, Charlotte, basically transformed how the world views the pig, Wilbur. Everyone knows that the “future” of the pig is definitely to be slaughtered. The other animals in the farm also have a certain story about the pig Wilbur. When he was brought to the farm everyone treated him indifferently and nobody wanted to befriend him except for the spider. Now, all the animals in the farm know that he will be slaughtered and will be made as ham for Christmas and the rat Templeton, emphasized that, that what pigs are for, to be slaughtered. That's the default future of Wilbur as a pig: to be slaughtered. However, Charlotte made a promise to Wilbur that she would never allow that to happen. She believed and promised Wilbur that he would see springtime. Then she started creating words from her web, words like “some pig”. It spread around in the community about the words "some pig" on the web, and Wilbur started to get noticed by everyone. The next words Charlotte made from her web were “terrific”, “radiant” and “humble”. These are words Charlotte and even the selfish rat Templeton, came up with to describe Wilbur. Everyone in the community started seeing Wilbur “with new eyes”, he became “some terrific, radiant and humble” pig to everyone in the community. Even the other animals started treating him extraordinarily and the people in the farm started taking care of him, like giving him enough food and bathing him with buttermilk. Charlotte kept her promise; Wilbur experienced spring. The world transformed around Wilbur, transformed because a spider took notice of Wilbur not just a pig but “some terrific, radiant and humble pig” and everyone in the farm started showing acts of kindness towards each other even when the spider, Charlotte, died in the end.

What is happening in our world is not far from what the movie Charlotte’s Web tells us. We all have a default “future” as Filipinos and as individuals. Some of these futures are, “we can only succeed if we work abroad”, “we are a third world country”, “we can never be millionaires”, “we are born to be poor”, “poverty is everywhere” “the only way to get a good income is to go to college, graduate, study more and get promoted”. When I was in Hongkong, one Investor I had a conversation with at the lobby said, that we Filipinos are all talk. He went to our country several times already and nothing gets done. Our country is not a good place to do business.” If we will listen to all of these, we can immediately predict what the future of this country will be.

This is primarily the reason why a lot of people have difficulty understanding what our work is all about; what this community is all about. When something different comes in, most of us would based it from what our past tells us, like “nobody has done it before”, “my parents are poor”, “the only way to have money is to marry a foreigner or marry a rich person”, “I’m shy or introvert I will never succeed”.

What people don’t usually get is this, we can no longer change what happened in the past. What makes us transform the life we have in the present is the future we see coming towards us. I remember eleven years ago when I was still tutoring Koreans, one of my old students said that her country Korea, was inspired by what our country achieved during the 60’s and 70’s and during that time, that’s all they wanted to happen in Korea as well and when she came back in the 90’s she was surprised to see that nothing has changed for us. She said that it was like we got stuck somewhere and was not able to move forward. The truth is, we got stuck with our stories of our past. We brought our past in our future. We carried it with us. Take for example dictatorship, it happened long time ago, in fact I was still a kid then, yet everytime a new president gets elected, we are already finding evidences that he/she will declare martial law and if not we are sure any incoming president prepares for it. Its possible that martial law will happen again however believing that every president being elected in office plans doing it then finding evidences that it will happen again, is focusing on our past. Doing that we missed other future possibilities for this country. This is why we get a future similar to our past, nothing new is created. As philanthropist Lynne Twist said, “what we appreciate, appreciates”. If you appreciate goodness that comes in your way, it will appreciate, it will grow. On the other hand, if you keep on noticing all the crap that happens in your life, then expect that it will grow and as T.Harv Eker said, you become a giant crap magnet”.

Now, how about you, what do you see? Do you see the worst of times or the best of times? Do you recession or do you see opportunities? Do you see problems or do you see problems as gifts? When you look in the mirror, what do you see? Do you see a bitter person or a person who can be a contribution? Do you see a person surviving or a person thriving? Do you see a small person or a great person becoming? Warren Bennis said, “our actions relate how the world occurs to us, not to the way that it actually is”. When how we occur to yourself alters, everything else shifts as well.

This community is offering an alternative future, a future distinct from the past. We are choosing to see the unpredictable; we are choosing to see what 80% of the Filipinos failed to notice. We choose to see that Filipinos are powerful beyond measure. Filipinos are not born to work for others but born to make a difference not just in his/her own country but also to the rest of the world. We choose to see that the brown skinned “Indios” are not slaves but are business leaders who can steer the course of the world.

The challenge is basically to see beyond what are eyes allows us to see. Just like my favorite cartoon when I was a kid Thundercats Lion-o would say, “give me sight beyond sight!”. It is true that there is recession; it’s true that in our own home or community, we see evidences of poverty. The media and newspaper will never run out of it and will always smack it on our face everytime we open the television and read our local paper. We would even often argue, “to see is to believe”, “I see around me that I’m poor, I watch the news and they say we are in a recession. I have all the evidences to prove that I will never thrive in this country”. Whatever recession or depression this country is experiencing right now, this community, CA2020, is not joining it.

Mediocre people will accept what they see around them, do nothing or worst blame the government, their parents or justify their being poor or unsuccessful. On the other hand, business leaders will accept what they see around them, become aware of things they can and cannot control, and then choose to see differently and from there, they take the necessary action. As one of my mentees Coach Cy said, “depression is an option” even suffering, even misery. Are you even aware that right now, you can choose to be happy?

Mahatma Gandhi knows that India is suffering from the British rule and he chose to see that India being free even though a lot of people that time never believed its going happen. The thing is, Gandhi saw India being free even before it happened.

Business leaders/visionaries are coming from this context, “I’ll see it when I believe it”. Whereas a lot of us Filipinos would rather see first then believe. This is why a lot of us end up becoming “wait and see”. In the world of business, we end up mostly consumers not producers. We end up working for somebody else for the rest of our lives rather than taking charge of our financial lives. Just to look back, even during the time of Conquistadores, we’ve always been the one being conquered not the conqueror. What do you expect from a country full of people who don’t have the power to conquer their own thoughts? How can we conquer something from outside of us when we can’t even conquer what’s close to us? The prison is not in our local police station; it’s in our thoughts.

When we had our second major bankruptcy in our business several years back, we look into our bank accounts, there's nothing, our so called friends left us, our partners flee their responsibilities, we have nothing to eat but sardines, noodles and suffer not having electricity for months. It was like a never ending rondori, multiple attacks, emotionally, verbal attacks, threats etc.. We know we don't have anything that time. Nada. Around us, life that time might seem futile. Our parents told us to go back to the province and find a job. Still, we chose not to suffer as Marcel Proust said, "the real voyage of discovery consists not seeking new lands, but in seeing with new eyes". We chose to see that suffering is temporary and that for every breakdown there is a breakthrough. Looking back I realized that indeed what we're seeing with our eyes, is just a tip of the ice berg. Indeed, now more than ever, every Filipinos must have "sight beyond sight."

This is not about denying the “facts”, and again we can always get the facts, at the end of the day, how these facts occurs to us is what matters. If you’re asking yourself right now, why is it I still do not achieve the results I want in my life? Investigate how the situation occurs to you. Again, our actions relate how the world occurs to us, not to the way that it actually is.

So, are you joining the recession? If not, the community welcomes recession-free individuals. Individuals who choose to see themselves thrive during this very challenging times than just survive.

Is CA2020 a Scam? BY COACH KRISTINE

scam
n.
A fraudulent business scheme; a swindle.
tr.v. scammed, scam•ming, scams
To defraud; swindle.

www.thefreedictionary.com

On the question, is CA2020 a scam? I guess the people who insist on it haven’t done their research yet. What’s worse is that most of them may not even know what a scam means.

Well, let’s go back to the definitions first. A scam is a fraudulent business scheme or a swindle. Just looking at this definition would actually be enough to answer the question but allow me to enlighten the ones who are too lazy to do their homework. Please be guided by these key points for your understanding:

1. CA2020 is a volunteer group, a Community. It is not even a business. The privileged people involved in business are the Core Team members. Being part of the Core Team follows a process. To know about it, go back to the person who made you aware of the site or the Community.

2. Swindling. There is no swindling involved in the public events of the Community. Back to definitions once more, to swindle means to cheat someone out of money. The 2 events – the Wealth Course and the Cashflow Gathering are all covered by the generosity of the Core Team members. The time spent for these events is pro bono. The fee for the Cashflow Gathering covers the food and materials of the participants. We even post our real names and complete contact information in our website. How transparent can we get?

3. CA2020 as a networking/pyramiding scheme. Allow me to repeat myself, CA2020 is not a business, it is a Community. Being part of the Community does not make you a scammer. Prepare to be surprised in this online Community. To know what kind of “monsters” it has created inside the Core Team, visit www.iloveabundance.com.

4. Nu Skin and CA2020. The Core Team, and I repeat, the Core Team chose to partner with a billion-dollar company for its stage 1 of the Power Investing Plan. Nu Skin is not equal to CA2020. I really can’t blame those from the C, D and E market who perceive the company still as a mere networking scheme that will collapse in a few months’ time. Blame it on a 25-year old company whose mission is to be a force for good and whose intention is to give the Filipino lower class a fighting chance towards financial freedom by opening a market in a 3rd-world country. We are very proud of this Company. I don’t think a lot of professionals would exchange their warm, fuzzy and secure jobs for the discomfort of working with a fraud.

5. 3rd-party references. For those who really are into researching further, feel free to search on these key phrases:

 American Business Awards
 Stevies
 Forbes
 Nu Skin = BUY
 5A1, Dan and Bradstreet
 Global seamless compensation plan

To end, allow me to leave you by quoting Albert Einstein, “Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocre minds.” The Create Abundance Business Community has become a space for its members to manifest their greatness through volunteerism, humility, responsibility, service, contribution and growth through entrepreneurship. If you think you can also be a space for this to happen to other people, why fear being one of us and be the difference demonstrated to the world?

Self Made Millionaires vs. Team Made Millionaires by Dr. Mahdi Tolentino, Core Team

“In this Information Era, move in the path that makes you reach your goals faster and easier”

While talking to my Mentor and Coach in Finance, he pointed out the different people in the past who succeeded financially on their own. By learning and sacrificing many things. People like Andrew Carnegie, Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, etc. What took my attention were their ages, and the time they spent to reach that level of Financial Success! And suddenly I remembered my conversation with Mr. Lance Miller (See him in my album) the 2005 World Champion of Public Speaking.

“How long it took you time to win this title?” I asked at the lunch table. He replied; “13 years!”. Shockingly I asked “thirteeeeeeeeeen years?”

And he said “yes, because I learned everything by myself. I wasn’t coached and never attended any classes on this subject. I practiced and joined the competition by myself and failed and learned more…”

Compared to the 2007 World Champion of Public Speaking, who became an inspiration to many new Public Speakers, it took Mr. Miller (though he is still my favorite speaker among the champions in the past 25 years) 9 more years to win the title. Searching for the reason behind success of this new Champion; I found out that he had surrounded himself with different people expert in the field. He simply gathered A TEAM!

Same goes in Finance and Business nowadays. In this fast changing era when everyday new information and technologies being publicized; an individual Entrepreneur has a higher chance of succeeding if he joins forces with other experts than competing against them. Remember in today time, the faster you get to your desired results the better you are, and then the titles follow.

Based on the people whom I studied I have put them in comparison (and you may add more) see illustration above.

And as you can see, there are companies starting merging together; though they competed against each other in the past. Sample of those in our country are banks (like BDO and Equitable!)

Therefore one of the reasons I suggest people in joining communities such as CA2020.net is to provide the potential of creating the Team that helps them winning the money game, faster and easier.

So, you still want to go solo or join us?

The Create Abundance Charter

Create Abundance is an organization whose purpose is to empower people and organizations to generate and fulfill new possibilities based on gifts, generosity, accountability and commitment. We create and provide services, programs and business vehicles that produce extraordinary results for our partners.

We conduct ourselves and our organization from the following fundamental values that are the heart of who we are being:

The opportunity to make a difference. The profound privilege of participating in one's own financial transformation, the transformation of others and financial transformation of the world itself.

Responsibility. Responsibility begins with the willingness to experience oneself as cause of the matter, to be the cause of the matter in one's life. A context one chooses to live.

Service. Service begins with willingness to commit to another being. It's a relationship in which one commits to another person.

Accountability. Accountability is the opportunity to live at choice rather than accidentally. It is the opportunity to carve out the future rather that to sit back and have it happen in one's life.

Integrity. It is a space where one becomes his/her promise rather than what one said. Honoring and respecting one's word. One gives up life when one compromises integrity.

We promise to be true to our purpose, to accomplish our mission, to operate consistent with our values and to generate our enterprise in service to humanity.

This is who we are. This is what we stand for.

Creating Wealth is not a Mystery it is a Formula.

The Create Abundance Formula on Wealth Creation:

IQ Intelligence Quotient
+
EQ Emotional Quotient
+
AQ Adversity Quotient
+
FQ Financial Quotient
+
NQ Network Quotient
=
Wealth and Abundance

IQ Intelligence Quotient is a measure to of the ability to understand and comprehend learned knowledge and application to achieve ones desire in life. In CA2020 knowledge comes from those authors who tried and succeeded. This refers to being both School Smart and Street Smart.

EQ/AQ Emotional Quotient and Adversity Quotient is how we deal our relationship with other people and how we handle difficulties in life. How we translate this experiences into lessons that would make as grow as a person. In CA2020 our service programs such as the Cashflow Gatherings and Wealth Course are learning experiences for our apprentices. It teaches them how to handle people from all walks of life. The more difficult people the better growth experience for the apprentices.

FQ Financial Quotient comes from Financial Education. This is learning the mechanics of wealth building. In CA2020 we believe that success is a habit. We constantly learn by teaching others about wealth building. The more people we teach the more our FQ increases. The more we learn the more money systems (pipelines) we are capable of building. Part of increasing the FQ is executing the Power Investing Plan.

NQ Network Quotient refers to your networking activities. How you expand your personal, professional and virtual network. In CA2020 we believe that Net Worth is in direct proportion of the size, quality, diversity and higher level of relationships of your network. This NQ makes it possible to create wealth from zero.

We invite you to join the CA2020 Core Team and learn the formula for creating wealth. Not only in knowing but also in doing.

For your wealth and abundance!

Choosing a Leader and Distinguishing Yourself

Here is an excerpt from one of my favorite leadership books:

“When I was young and naive, I thought leaders were people who always made the right decisions. Later I would learn even great leaders make mistakes. Now I understand the truth: Great leaders can be wrong—but they cannot be unclear. A steadfast, focused vision of the future—one that inspires hope and confidence among followers—is the mark of true leadership. Lord Nobunaga's vision of a unified Japan sustained his rise from minor warlord to supreme overlord, from manager of dozens to master of millions. The clarity and power of that vision sustained my own subsequent rise to ultimate leadership.

“Remember, the people with whom you choose to associate shape the trajectory of your life more than do the activities in which you choose to engage. Young people, especially, tend to emphasize what over whom. I advise you to be less concerned about what work you do—and more about whom you work for.

“I chose Oda Nobunaga as my leader. Whom will you choose as yours?”

- - -

Secret of Foresight: Choose a leader with vision

Choose your leader wisely, choose someone with a vision and that vision must align with yours.

In Create Abundance our Vision is very clear: Create 1,000 multi-millionaires by year 2020. If your vision is aligned with our community vision, then I invite you to join our community.

In invitation you are free to accept or decline. Our invitation is precious since we will be responsible for your growth and change of mindset. That is why we give a test to all our applicants if they will be qualified for us to lead them. The test or the exercise will make us sure that you are willing to fight for your dreams and vision. If you cannot fight for yourself how would you expect us to fight for you?

Act In spite of your mood. by T Harv Eker

“I don’t ‘feel’ like it”, is a common chant we often say to ourselves or to others when we’re tired, not in the mood, or simply procrastinating. No doubt feelings are important and need to be acknowledged, yet at the same time, they often prevent us from taking the action we need to take, at the time we need to take it. Consequently, in the end, because we didn’t do what we needed to do, we tend to feel worse.

It takes courage to act regardless of your current mood. It’s easy to succumb to your feelings. But remember, your feelings come from your thoughts, and you have the power to change your thoughts. When you change your thoughts, you will change the way you feel. Instead of focusing on how you’re not in the mood, focus on the benefit of completing whatever needs to get done. Focus on how you’ll feel when you’re finished and how proud you’ll be of yourself for acting in spite of not being in the perfect mood.

Utilize the “law of momentum” which states that, “A body at rest tends to remain at rest while a body in motion tends to remain in motion”. In short, get into motion! Remember, moods are a product of the “mind”. The trick is simple: don’t think, just do it! Train yourself to “get started” even if you’re not in the mood. Moods tend to quickly dissipate once you’re in action.

Whenever you don’t “feel” like it, check in with your current thoughts. What are you thinking that is resulting in this feeling? Then simply change your thoughts. Remember, action generally comes from your higher self, the part of you that is for growth and expansion. Inaction generally comes from your protective mind, the part of you that tries to keep you stuck in your comfort zone. When you act in spite of your mood, you are choosing to manage and control your mind instead of letting it control you!

So the next time you’re not feeling “in the mood”, either change your thinking or simply say to your mind, “thank you for sharing”. Then focus on only taking the very first step to get started, then take another, and another. One step at a time until the law of momentum kicks in. By then, chances are you’ll forget all about not being “in the mood”, and will be well on your way to completing whatever it was you needed to do…and feeling great about it!
